My Thoughts on Education

To my great embarrassment and pain, I was the bully and teaser back in my elementary school days. Not that there weren’t times when I got it from others as well, but I would primarily play the role of bully. Reading this article, “Handling Bullying Issues: Playground Politics,” is from the victim’s standpoint, illuminating just how debilitating being the victim of bullying can be.

This is effective real world advice that when put into use, can shut bullies down and build up the confidence of a would-be victim so they could stand up for themselves. This is solid advice that we all can learn from; children and adults alike. Although this is all easier said than done, this can be a great starting point in which to educate and enforce a zero tolerance for bullying school atmosphere.
