My Thoughts on Education

Donald Trump would not have shared his medical information with “The Dr. Oz Show,” nor would he be discussing it as a subject, if the results of his physical examination and tests were not favorable for him, the Republican nominee said Thursday.

Discussing his interview with Mehmet Oz taped Wednesday, Trump told “Fox & Friends” that he handed over two documents, one pertaining to Lenox Hill Hospital and the other the results of the physical and his tests.

“I did every test. I did it last week, and the samples all came back and I guess I wouldn’t be talking to you right now if they were bad. If they were bad, I would say let’s sort of skip this, right?” Trump remarked.

Trump called his cholesterol “quite good.”

“Everything is really good, and if I – honestly, you know I told people on your show I’m going to get a physical because you guys mentioned that, I said, all right, I’ll go get a physical. I was quick to do it,” Trump said. “And I have every single test you can have and they were good.”

Trump acknowledged that it is difficult to eat well on the campaign trail, but added, “you get a lot of exercise on the trail also. People don’t realize it.”

As far as conflicting reports about his weight, the 6-foot-3 Trump chided reports that he weighed 267 pounds instead of 236.

“No, it’s 236. Did they quote that in the paper?” Trump asked. “Oy, oy, oy, it’s bad enough.”
