Hillary Clinton will spend the week following her first debate with Donald Trump barnstorming key battleground states alongside a team of heavyweight Democratic surrogates, according to a campaign release Friday.
Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, first lady Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, vice president Joe Biden and Clinton’s daughter Chelsea will join her on the trail to push for voter registration.
“As we countdown to election day, the campaign continues its 3 Million Stronger push to register or commit to vote 3 million voters,” the campaign statement said. “Clinton campaign surrogates will fan out across the country to encourage voters to visit iwillvote.com to check their voter registration status or get registered to vote.”
The Democratic nominee will spend Tuesday campaigning in North Carolina; former President Clinton will be in Ohio; Biden will stump for the candidate in Philadelphia; and Kaine will speak in Florida.
Michelle Obama will campaign in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on Wednesday; Chelsea Clinton will be in North Carolina; and the presidential candidate will be in New Hampshire.
On Thursday, Clinton will be in Iowa along with Kaine’s wife Anne Holton. The campaign will cap off the week in Florida, while Holton campaigns in Wisconsin.
Other surrogates who will be rallying voters for Clinton across the country include the Mothers of the Movement, who had a prime-time speaking slot during the Democratic National Convention, actress Debra Messing and former Vermont governor Howard Dean.
